How can we help?
The Fast ForWord computer-based learning programme is a fun, scientifically proven method of improving students’ learning skills. Based on over 30 years of neuroscience research, Fast ForWord is very different from other educational programmes in that it trains the participant’s brain to process information more quickly and correctly. With over 1,000,000 participants worldwide, the results speak for themselves.

Individuals can participate in Fast ForWord at home in all Australian states effectively and conveniently. All that is needed is a computer that meets some basic technical specifications (see below), stereo headphones (can be purchased inexpensively from Sonic Learning if necessary) and an Internet connection. Participants train for 50 minutes per day, 5 days per week, for a minimum of 8 to 12 weeks. The frequency and intensity of training results in significant improvements in memory, attention, auditory processing, reading, and various related skills. Best of all, the games are fun and adapt to the participants skill level. Participants can train at a time that best suits them and can even break up their training across the day.
Sonic Learning provides the licensed Fast ForWord programmes on a USB thumb drive for ease of use with PC computers. Fast ForWord programmes are also compatible with Windows Vista and Macintosh computers although installation and use is slightly different (please contact us for technical specifications and installation information).
The participant’s training results are uploaded daily via the Internet so our team of Health Professionals can monitor their results and progress. Each week parents are emailed a progress report and our speech pathologists are always available to provide support. Our team has extensive experience in successfully providing the Fast ForWord programmes to individuals in their home and it represents an excellent way for parents to give their child a significant learning boost without having to leave the house.
